2013 XX Disc Brake

When you need the best on your racer, Avid delivers with the new Avid XX HS1 disc brake system. New for 2013 is an updated bladder material to reduce air permeability, and an air-trap zone to prevent air from entering the reservoir for super easy bleeding. Avid bakes up a lightweight forged aluminium caliper and lever body, then brings out the frosting with carbon fiber blade and titanium hardware.

Of course a delicious brake needs an equally great rotor, and the Avid HSX rotor fits the bill. Keeping things light, the two piece HSX rivets a stainless steel rotor to an AL-7075-T6 aluminium spider.

All brakes are 74mm post spacing, and include a 51mm IS brake mount adapter.
