A race/XC oriented combination that''s all about speed. The same "easy rolling" base layer that all Schwalbe Triple Star Compounds have with a "medium soft" designation shoulder compound to make things grippy in the turns and a "medium" designation center tread compound to keep it fast.

The HS425 is the second revision and newest Racing Ralph from Schwalbe. "An out and out competition tire", it should be known that durability and puncture protection are not great. Speed is pretty much the only thing here--and with the HS425, Schwalbe has really taken it to the next level. With PaceStar and a new profile, the HS425 is 30g lighter and has 20% less rolling resistance over the previous model, the HS391.
