Lazer has changed their sizing system, what was "M/L" is now just "LG".

How does sizing compare to Giro Ionos? Small Ionos = small Helium?

A size "SM" from Lazer is smaller than a size "S" from Giro, by about 1 to 2 cm.

Review of the Lazer Helium Helmet - 2012:

Great helmet. Fits wonderfully and has a great look. The only draw back is the material the strap is made out of is slightly stiff and thin and doesn't lay as comfortably as I would like but is forgotten easily once I get moving.

I have used a number of helmets, including the Atmos, Ionos and Prolight. The Helium is far and away the best that I have worn to date. The fit system is excellent. The magic buckle still makes me smile everytime I put on the helmet. Highly recommend this helmet.

My wife has a small head and this helmet fits her perfectly. The fit system and straps are easy to adjust. Plus it matches her bike!! (BONUS) Tree Fort bikes price makes this a great value too!

Finally a helmet that fits my round/wide head. If you measure my head I should fit a L. But the L pinches my head on the sides. So XL it is. It's nice and comfortable, fit system is the best. XL is a little heavier than my previous Bell, but fits much better.
