The Michelin Krylion tire has been a best seller and customer favorite here at the shop for the last couple of years. It had a good balance of grip/weight/flat resistance/cost and most importantly tread life. The new Pro4 Endurance takes it to the next level.
Built upon the 110tpi casing of Michelin's Pro3 race tire the Pro4 Endurance offers an improved ride when compared to the Krylion.
To gain mileage the Krylion lost a bit of grip when compared to the Pro3 due to the harder rubber compound. The Pro4 Endurance grips as well as the Pro3 but with a tread life that actually exceeds that of the Krylion.
Michelin realizes that unlike the freshly cleaned roads (if you''re lucky) during a race there are going to be a million things out there that are going to try to give you a flat. The Pro4 Endurance uses a bead to bead high density nylon breaker to help keep you rolling and gives you the highest level of puncture protection of any of the Pro4 tires
- Designed with emphasis on endurance with reinforced protection against punctures and cuts, combining high performance with outstanding durability
- Dual compound tread provides exceptional resistance to wear and enhanced grip when leaning through corners and protection against punctures and impact damage
- Bead-to-bead breaker ply ensures outstanding resistance to perforation
