Even though the Pro 4-axis stem isn't at the top of Ritchey''s product line anymore doesn''t mean that it is in any way an inferior product to the WCS. It still features Ritchey''s 3D forging process, angled steertube slot, and amazing finishing details.

The stress-managing characteristics or Ritchey''s original 4-bolt design are magnified by increasing the face plate width to 44mm, which decreases the amount af stress around the clamping area of bars, making them less prone to breaking. The 44mm faceplate also adds to the stem''s over-all stiffness.
