Equip your racy road bike with tight clearances to handle the wet of winter training miles or commuter use with CRUD's feature-packed RoadRacer 2 fenders. The RR2s quickly attach to your bike's fork blades and seat stays using versatile rubber o-rings and re-usable nylon ties where your brakes mount to the frame and fork. More importantly, the fasteners are designed to break free should anything get lodged between the struts and your spokes, lessening the possibility of a wrecked wheel and a nasty crash.

The RR2s employ unique self-centering pilestrip brushes to prevent annoying tire rub without the need for extra struts and mounting eyelets. This means that CRUD can give you more coverage than you previously thought possible on road bikes not designed to accept traditional fenders. If the skimpy clip-ons from the other guys aren't doing the trick, the CRUD RoadRacer 2 is what you need.

Review of the CRUD RoadRacer 2 Fender Set Black:
I was stoked to get these on my bike but overall, I think its pretty overpriced at retail and we shouldn't be paying to essentially be beta testers for them. Despite touting an easy setup, things don't nearly go as smoothly as depicted in the videos or instructions since I wasn't part of the dev team or have already installed dozens of them. It all went together easy but fine tuning things was a pain and it seems the hardware was meant for modern bikes with fat tubes, it left quite a bit of slack on my steel frame yet the clearances were very tight with my Campy dual pivots. The worst deal was the customer service, I had them on for two days and the front lower guard disappeared on me. I have yet to hear back from them but apparently they used to send spares for the price of postage but now its going to cost me $20 USD to get that piece back totaling costs of $70 for plastic fenders. They also give an odd amount of spares and given the proprietary mounting hardware, they could've supplied more of them.

Summed up: Nice design and fills a niche but product still needs work. CS no longer any good. Follow the vid and ensure things are secure.

Review of the CRUD RoadRacer 2 Fender Set Black:
They don't seem to fit most road bikes, even ones with smaller than 700x25 tires. I bought them for my bike, didn't fit. They also didn't fit my wife's bike or two friends. They worked on a third friends bike, and look great.

Summed up: The fenders don't fit most road bikes and are a $40 gamble

Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.
