2013 Karate Monkey Frameset
The Karate Monkey just can't be stopped!
The classic 29er from Surly continues to rip down the trail with speed and grace. The CroMo frame offers a comfy but strong ride. With horizontal drop outs and a derailleur hanger, you can run your Monkey however you''d like, whether it be gears, single-speed... even an internally geared hub would feel at home on the Karate Monkey.
For 2012 the Karate Monkey sports only disc brake mounts, sorry v-brakers.
Available in Stretchpants Black or Battleship Gray.

Surly lists the 20" Frame as 5.5lbs, and the fork as 2.6lbs. The 18" should come pretty close to that.
