All-City
2011 Nature Boy SSCX Complete Bike
We spend extra time and care building, testing and re-boxing your bike before it leaves. This takes approximately 4 business days to prepare the shippment.
This extra step and time allows us to ensure that when your bike arrives to you it will be very easy to assemble for most anyone. Most bikes do not include pedals, so make sure to choose some for your new bike so we can ship them in the same box and you can get our riding quicker!Get back to nature with the All-City Nature Boy Cyclocross Bike. The geometry is designed with the bell lap in mind. The aggressive geometry is also great for hitting the back-roads at full speed. 100% full 4130 ChroMoly steel frame with double butted down, top, and seat tubes, externally tapered, ovalized, and dimpled chain stays, tapered seat stays give the Nature Boy a classic steel feel and look while still being able to sprint with the modern bikes.
You may be thinking that the steel ride quality is great but cross season can get sloppy and steel can be a pain to keep re-treating to prevent rust. All City has you covered, as each of the Nature Boy frames comes E.D. treated (electrophoretic deposition) which is the best way to prevent rust. The E.D. treatment also improves paint adhesion so the bike looks good no matter how hard you ride it.
The internal rear brake routing not only improves the beauty of the frame, but also provides the ultimate in comfort when grabbing the top tube to shoulder the bike. Once you try it, you'll wish all of your bikes (where appropriate) had this feature, and since the entire bike is E.D. coated there''s no worries about the cable channel rusting.
The Nature Boy will fit 38c tires and if you decide to run fenders 35''s will still fit. Since the Nature Boy is intended as a race bike and they think traditional fender eyelets on race bikes are ugly, All City hid the rear ones on the inside of the seat stays, and placed the fork fender eyelets on the blade to keep the look clean. WARNING: Cycling can be dangerous. Bicycles and bicycle products should be assembled and serviced by a professional mechanic. Never modify your bicycle or accessories. Read and follow all product instructions and warnings including information on the manufacturer’s website. Inspect your bicycle before every use. Always wear a helmet.
