srjacobsGreat feeling pedal. I run these with a set of 5.10 shoes and have zero issues with slipping off my pedals. They have a nice amount of concavity so your foot settles into them well.
The pins seem to have plenty of traction and it's nice that they're easily replaceable - they use a hex wrench around the base of the pin instead of being the typical allen set-screw type pins which cake up with mud and get easily damaged so they're impossible to get out.
The pedals came with a bunch of spare pins in case you trash them, and rebuild kits are readily available online, which is nice in case you trash the bearings which will eventually happen to any pedal if you use them for DH or freeride.
Also, they're not overly heavy for being such a burly pedal. I don't think you can find a better combination of weight and functionality without spending a lot more money.
