The Fulcrum Racing Zero is a no-holds-barred aluminum racing wheel. Carbon is all the rage these days, but there's something about the light weight and dependability of aluminum that still rings true to the serious and discerning cyclist. Fulcrum pulled out all the stops to make this wheel a racing machine, and what they came up with is something remarkable. Fulcrum used a carbon fiber hub body bonded to an aluminum flange to cut some grams and give you great stiffness and strength. Plus, they decided to give you a little something extra and throw ceramic bearings in with the deal.
The rims are constructed in such a way that the spokes are bonded to extrusions, which means all excess material is eliminated. This cuts even more weight without sacrificing strength that is completely necessary when the wheels are taking race watts. Basically, this wheel rocks. When race day rolls around, choose the Fulcrum Racing Zero.
