This rotor is durable and works great. I actually use the storm with a shimano caliper. Excellent bang for your buck

I have the Avid XO disc breaks and was running the HS1 Avid Rotors. Significant "turkey chirp" noise was making me crazy. So I found this rotor and matched them to the Jagwire Comp pads and WOW what a difference. No noise and great modulation. On my bike, this changed the braking experience. Great German technology in this rotors.
