Comp 2 Bolt Seatpost (30.9 and 31.6)
When looking for a seatpost we look at two fundamental properties: will it hold the saddle in a position of your choosing securely? And, will it last?
The Ritchey Comp Seatpost holds, lasts, and is light. The clamp is a two bolt design made for redundancy; one bolt holds the left side, one the right. Even if one bolt fails, the other will hold. The clamping hardware digs into serrations for further security. The low-profile clamp reduces stress on the rails by being wide and curved to meet saddle rail dimensions. Being aluminum, the post should be able to bend without breaking or fracturing. And to minimize weight, the bottom of the post has been finished on an angle to take out metal where it isn't needed (the back of the post.)
We love this post for its simplicity and durability.
