A GuestI've had mine for a full 10 years now, it WILL NOT seal onto removable valve cores with wrench flats, but has otherwise always done the job when needed.
I have only lubed it once in all those years.
I did once observe the sealing ring had worn and started leaking some, but I shimmed under it with a thin washer and it has been good for some additional years.
I ride almost daily but only flat about once every six weeks. I always put the head of the pump against the curb while pumping to prevent motion against the valve stem and to relieve arm stress since it takes just over 300 full strokes to achieve 80psi in a 23mm road tire. It needs to be secured to the heavier innertube in your pocket to keep it from flying out!
