The Maxxis Ardent features an aggressive tread in high-volume casing that provides tons of traction but still offers fairly low rolling resistance.
The Ardent loves fast tight twisty trail with large block-style side knobs offering numerous edges for high-speed cornering and the center tread is ideal for braking and accelerating traction on the hills. The center tread also features ramped knobs to minimize rolling resistance.

We do not stock the 29x2.25 version in the EXO version. The 29x2.4 does have the EXO if it will fit your frame.

Good all conditions tire. Seems very durable and hooks up very well. Not the lightest tire but definitely one you can have confidence in tubeless for those long rides.

great tire. wore out after 4 months of hard use....better then Racing Ralph- heavier, but more durable.

Great front tire. Replaced an Ikon up front with it and have not looked back as it corners much better. A bit a a weight penalty versus the Ikon, but worth it.

2.25 Ardent 29er, mounted-up easily (running with a tube) to my Stans No-Tube Flows, and immediatley noticed how quiet it rode despite reasonably aggressive tread design. Have run it on hardpack, loose/sandy, and wet/rooty...performs as well, if not the best, of any rear tire I have run (an I've run many). Rolls very well. Very, very pleased!
