Black Stainless Skewer Set, 100mm/135mm

pricey but you pay for quality. it's nice to not have any plastic on these things. i thought the springs looked cheap but they are actually pretty stiff. the machining is all quality, instead of plastic they use brass. hope to have these for years to come. these replaced XT skewers, i hate the style of shimano, it's always tough to screw them down. the Hope's are high quality and you can torque them down tightly. you don't think about things like skewer's till you swap them out and see the difference.

These skewers are an order of magnitude better than typical skewers. These are the micro-brewery porter in a field of light beers.
