This derailleur has about the same tension, but the shifts are much quieter probably because of the longer pulley length and the tooth shift ramp design on the crankset. It seems durable and it does it's job properly. It's not as fast as high end derailleurs, but the price is much lower and for the way it performs it's pretty much worth the buy.
