loubertLots of beautiful, lightweight hubs and wheel sets on the market. My best evidence to support the 240 over the CK's, Campy's, Shimano's, etc: I have used this hub's predecessor on both my mtb & roadie for more than ten years, without ANY issues whatsoever.
The 240 series lowers the weight, and is stunningly finished. The smooth inner flat on the non-drive side has created no problems that I know of, though it is not the norm.
Do your homework. I love these hubs, and would consider them the best compromise of weight & durability. Sorry, Mr. King.
