The Pro Moto flat bar is perfect for the 29er. The trend is towards wider bars in general but a wide bar really shines on the big Wheeler's. Great weight for a bar this wide and as with all Salsa products fit and finish are awesome.
As always buying from TFB is the only way to go.

Love Salsa Pro Moto Carbon bars - I have 3. Highly recommended. Lots of hard core Eastern trail riding with no issues.
