2010 MiNewt Mini - USB Plus LED Light

The Minewt USB is a high-end commuting light, and it does a great job. Charging the unit is very convenient whether you choose to plug it in to your computer or an outlet. Its a fairly lightweight unit, I have the light and battery mounted on my helmet and barely notice that it's up there. My only gripe about this light is that the hot spot in the beam is pretty noticable, but not terribly over-powering. I use this light for nighttime rides on the road and it works very well. I dont think that this light (alone) would work well on the single track as it's just not bright enough, however it would make a great addition brighter light that you may already have. If you're looking for a great, "To see" commuting light, then this is the one for you!

Great light for the price. Lights up the road very well for commuting, making all hazards highly visible. I've taken this commuting through 4 ft wide trails and had no problems with visibility. Its easy to install, easy to recharge, easy to take on and off if you need to lock up outside, all around a great addition to your commuter! The option for the helmet mount is also great in the case that you ride through narrow single track. Not the best light out there for mtb riding, but will do the job.
