SRAM's mid-level 10spd cassette borrows its semi spidered construction from the ultra light weight OG-1090 and XX cassettes but with less machining and a spider for the 3 largest cogs.

Lighter weight materials and an aluminum lockring make the PG-1070 45grams lighter than the PG-1050.

New cassette works perfectly. 12/26 is a nice option for climbing if one doesn't want to go with a compact crank.

Summed up: Cheaper than Shimano & works just as well.

Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Great cassette! Love the 11-28 ratio. It really helps get up the hills while still pushing the 53 in the front. Shifts perfect like always.

Review of the SRAM PG-1070 10 Speed Cassette:
Not so shimano compatible as I was lead to believe. I run ultegra and dura ace on my bikes. Thought I would try the 1070 cassette 12-27, 11-28, and 11-25. But unfortunately they just aren't as smooth shifting as the shimano cassettes on my shimano drive train. Will most likely ebay them and get shimano replacements. They were cheap though!

Summed up: Not so Shimano compatible as I was lead to believe. Only get if you run a SRAM drive train.
