A GuestBought these for an alternate to my clipless pedals. High quality three bearing system w/ smaller diameter spindle. they are small in size and for basic single track and fire roads are great. I am using size 10 LaSportiva Circ Pro approach shoe with sticky rubber w/ rather featureless soles that fit snug with no sole extensions so these work well with the small pedal. If you are riding rough terrain where you might need a large target to reclaim the pedal, choose either the Spider-D or a larger platform. The spikes (initially using the square ones) stick nearly as good as clipless (untill you try to jump, then it is a different technique that I am still learning) Wanted something for on/off road cycling where I could wear light weight hiking shoes.

dmiller403Bought this pedal expecting a full platform. The platform is about half the size of most pedals. I was dissapointed when i pulled them out of the box. But since using them ive found some good aspects. I get a nice full grip because every spike makes full contact. They are suprisinly comfortable and lightweight. Ive used them on both my freeride mt bike. Also for trials biking. They are currently on my trials bike due to being super light weight. They will give you a good calf workout because the small contact area, keeping you on your toes.

jjarias2Great pedals. Super "sticky" and suprisingly light. My advice would be to get yourself some shin guards too.

A GuestGreat pedals, I was concerned they would be too narrow, I wear 10 1/2 Medium width shoe and these pedals work great! The spike placement is perfect on my shoes. Highly recommend!
