The Mt. Borah Ascent shorts are built for comfort all around. With a modified 6 panel construction they are able to eliminate circulation crushing cross seams. Mt. Borah goes even further than just no cross seams though with flat locked stitching to keep the insides even more comfortable and the outside looking flat and stylish. The chamois does the same with a one piece molded Italian pad. We like them because they're not extra expensive and still offer great comfort and breathability through their Dryflex 350 fabric.

Look reasonable but are small.
I bought a medium and they are too small.
I'm 5'10, 165lbs, 31" waist.
Maybe they'll fit my wife?

Good and cheap sums them up. They're not as nice as some Pearl Izumi Tri shorts I have, but they're also nowhere near as expensive. The chamois is okay, but a little bulky and "stiff". It's not uncomfortable, just not form fitting. The thigh grippers appear to be elastic, which isn't as nice as silicone, but at the price I'm not going to complain. :)
I used these on a 70 mile ride while pushing a fully loaded touring bike. I wasn't ever real uncomfortable, but after about 50 miles the chamois' bulk is more noticeable. Not terrible, but it could be better.
