TS-8 Home Mechanic Truing Stand
The TS-8 Home Truing stand is an excellent choice for the home mechanic on a budget. Mount it to your bench, toss a wheel in, true it up and go ride. Without proper tools you wheels won't stand a chance once they''ve been knocked out of true.
Easy to use and designed to fit most common sized wheels, it''s an excellent way to stay on top of things before they go south and cost a bit more in repair costs.
The perfect companion product to the TS-8 stand is the
TM-1 tension meter.
- 16" to 29", with or without the tire mounted
- hub width (up to 170mm)

what size axles will this stand accommodate?

Out of the box it will work with standard Q/R axles. Park does make an axle adaptor for truing stands which works with all of the common sizes which can be found at this link:

A GuestWorth the price and usability for the home bike mechanic.
I was a 1st time truing stand user.
I re dished 2 wheels and trued 4 others without much problem.
Since you have to "flip" the wheel multiple times to re dish, bent axles become very noticeable when the dish changes for no apparent reason. That MIGHT be considered a "feature"! Otherwise, you have to make sure you have the axle installed with the bend in the same orientation.

sdlovelessIt's slow and fiddly, requiring the wheel to be flipped a few times, but it's built well and works.
