acrabbThis is a great pump. Built of aluminum and steel in Germany, and you can tell from its heft it's built to last. No problem at all getting to 120 PSI, and can go 100 PSI higher if you dare. The dial is high-mounted, which is good, though it doesn't have a rotatable 'bug' to store a target pressure. Nice long hose and a very positive-locking head. The SKS website lists spares for every part, though I don't know what availability is. German quality. You get what you pay for.

A GuestThis is a well built pump with good construction. It pumps up tubular tires quickly. Very easy to attach to the valve for solid contact.

A GuestAwesome pump. The pump works for both schrader and presta without having to swap anything...just place on the valve and secure the fastener. Works better than any other pump I have had.

TDYaldenI had shopped around and this was, by far, one of the most highly touted pumps on the market. With positive reviews from both lay-persons and bike shop mechanics alike, I decided to take the chance on SKS.
My Zefal is literally 20 years old and, although it still works, I was tired of struggling with detaching the nozzle, once finished inflating my tire, only to have more air escape than I felt should.
This unit works flawlessly. My only CONcern is that the nozzle tip is plastic (probably to cut down on damage to carbon rims and or a manufacturing cost issue). My old Zefal lasted 20 years probably because it had metal everything! Even the rubber hose and wooden handle were metal! (Obviously I'm exaggerating but you get my point.) I simply wish SKS would have left the tip/nozzle assembly as metal instead of plastic.
Other than that caveat, 5-stars...a thumbs up...Kudos!

Ska-TThe pump works OK. It is well made except for the fact that mine leaks from the bottom after very little use. I hope to be able to fix it by removing the large (24 mm?) nut on the bottom that holds the base to the vertical compression camber and installing a gasket or applying glue, but I've yet to get in there to see what is going on. Disappointed in the quality control of a German product. Maybe that's why this model is discontinued.

A GuestThis is a very good floor pump. The single head is used for both presta and shrader valves without swapping anything. It's very smart design. The construction is designed to take beating. It's very tough pump.

you...@ya...o.comThis is a good, solid pump that works well. That said, there are a few things I wish I'd known before purchasing. One, the locking lever is difficult to disconnect from valves, and both my husband and I have ended up with bruised palms and fingers when it snaps back -- this really hurts! Two, the numbers are readable, though fairly small -- but the largest markings are in bars, not PSI, so you really have to pay attention to avoid blowing up your tires if you presume you're reading PSI...

A GuestI work in a bike shop and we go through 2-3 floor pumps a year. The SKS Airbase Pro Floor pump is the only one that has survived over the last couple years. The quality of the pump is top notch and it's very stable. I have no issues pumping tires up to 100 PSI with this pump. Works great on Presta and Schrader Valves.
