Will this stand work with 27.5 mtn bike tires?
answered by: t.young
I just put a 27.5 wheel in and it worked fine.
asked by: A Visitor
what's weight of superstand &is it heavy enough to keep a bike on inclined platform?
answered by: k.williams
They are fairly heavy and sturdy, but that question would depend on the bike and the incline of the platform.

answered by: t.young
You question got cut off again. The wider the tire is the less likely it is to touch the stand. Usually most stands will touch the spokes.

answered by: t.young
Your question got cut off. The Extreme has a welded base and an attachment that slides on like this stand.
asked by: A Visitor
So the Extreme is a 1pc & this Standard is 2pc bolt design. Are they both same height?
answered by: t.young
We don't have an Extreme in the store at the moment but I believe that they should be the same height.

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
Done a lot of research in trying to find the right stand to support all my families MTB bikes (14, 16, 20, 26). This one has outstanding reviews (MTBR) and the website demonstration is very helpful. No hype here, its the real deal and worth every cent. It also can double as a work/wash stand. I know its just a bike stand but getting the best makes you wonder how you went without it. The quality is immediately evident out of the box and results just reassuring. Shop at TFB becuz they are simply the best... not only with product but price! Professional, Precise, Prompt and Preferred!

Summed up: Its not just about holding the bikes up but protecting them as well. Organization, simplicity, functionality!

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
It does the job of keeping my bike upright, and not scuffing the wall with its handlebars. Overall it feels solidly constructed and stable. 700x28C tires seem a little thin for it, but my bike seems stable and not in danger of falling over.

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
Works great. Hold bike by the wheels so as not to damage the spokes while mainting a very small footprint. No flaws. Not much else to say, other that it holds multiplt bikes very compactly when paired with the Superstand Connector.

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
Excellent stand, and I've used numerous stands over the years. I prefer this Willworx Superstand over the "almost identical" Willworx stand that comes in a flat box and must be assembled with several screws. The Willworx Superstand that Tree Fort Bikes sells is much sturdier. It's welded together with the exception of the vertical section that slips over two spring loaded ball bearings, which allow it to be removed if needed to reduce the size of the stand. The wind really blows here in Texas and I feel that the Willworx Superstand is much safer when the winds pick up. I actually use two of them when I transport my bike. I use the second stand to hold my front wheel when I'm assembling the bike. Once it's assembled, if the wind is really blowing, I'll use a Willworx Superstand on each wheel to make sure that it doesn't blow over. Much more secure than leaning it up against your car or truck. The Tree Fort Bikes people are extremely friendly and helpful. My stands arrived via FedEx, which I much prefer over UPS.

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
My first stand for the Trek 29er....amazing product, easy setup after getting separate extensions. Very firm and sturdy product...I love the one piece welded bottom section.

Would recommend getting it....I will order another one for my wife's 29er as well. Fits very nice in my garage and in the hall way...very little space needed.

Tree Fork Bikes have been great help on answering questions, providing discount match price and quick FedEx shipping which I like the most.

Thanks again!

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
Finding a rack for a bike for disc brakes is not easy, but our 2nd bike is a women's petite sized bike. Make that double hard. These do the trick.

The are simple to put together and sturdy enough to do the job. We bought two for our bikes and could not be happier.

We hang our bikes for the off season, but these are great all summer. They are easy in and out, no more struggling for my short wife to get her bike down to use when I am not around, nor leaving it propped up in the garage in danger of spilling over.

Summed up: Highly recommend for anyone with disc brakes, but the only thing to own if you have a short bike with disc brakes.

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
Great stand. I like the welded standard stand a little bit better than the consumer stand that requires some assembly, but I have both and both work well.
We use ours for our road bikes, and we particularly like it because it will hold up our road tandem - very helpful when we're getting ready for a ride a need a place to hold the bike.
The standard stands I bought most recently hold the road bikes pretty well without any foam adapters on it. We simply purchased inexpensive pipe insulating foam for our older ones - they do help steady the wheel further on a road bike, or a big bike like our tandem.

Summed up: Great stands - we own four

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
Works great for my 29're Hardtail without any extensions for the 29er tire height, with a few inches to spare.
Use it while making adjustments to the bike before a ride, and great to hold the bike after a ride while you hose it down.

Review of the Willworx Superstand Standard Bike Stand:
I got a couple of these, so we could more easily keep the bikes in the apartment living room. The wall rack was too much of a pain to use. These racks are simple, portable, and effective. We've got road bikes with 700c wheels, with fenders, and there's no problems. They won't quite fit if I back the bikes in, because the fender and rack get in the way. The stands still hold the bike, but the wheel doesn't go in all the way.
If I leave one pannier on the bike, it will tip over in this stand. And sometimes, the wheel turns a lot, and the bike tips over. I've been meaning to get some pipe insulation to fill the gap, so the wheel can't turn as much, and I think these racks would be more stable.
