I got this because I needed to carry a lot of water (I have an additional two 20-oz bottles on a runner's belt), couldn't use the typical frame mounts because of a child seat located between the handlebar and the seat, and wanted to still use a saddle bag. This rack was perfect. I've only used it on one run so far, but it was a 20-mile run and the bottles stayed secure and didn't bounce out. This is perfect for anyone who wants to carry more water, but doesn't want to deal with the hassle of cleaning a hydration backpack.

Purchasing this bottle cage has allowed me to shed the Camelbak for most road rides! So nice to be able to ride without the pack. I am 6'5 and 280 lbs and still getting into shape so I go through alot of water, this is a perfect solution. Attached to my seat post in minutes, didn't have to adjust the angle, and it holds 2 CO2 cartridges. Also still able to fit a medium size seat post bag on with the bottle holder as well. Very pleased with this product!
