Review of the Cinelli Cork Tape Solid Colors:
A great bar tape that is easy to install and gives that classic look. It gives a really tight wrap, making the bars look sleek, however the tape is pretty firm. Many people love it, I just prefer something with a little bit more cushion, like the Profile Design Shock Wrap. I would suggest this tape for road racing or training, but not for commuting or touring bikes that have road bars.

Summed up: Looks awesome, a little too firm for my supple hands.

Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Review of the Cinelli Cork Tape Solid Colors:
Although I have used and liked Cinelli cork bar tape in the past, I decided to return the tape I just ordered. The celeste color is greener than the paint on my Bianchi, so the two look a little strange together. Have ordered the Deda celeste tape instead.

Summed up: Very good product, but the celeste color is not a good color match to my Bianchi frame.

Review of the Cinelli Cork Tape Solid Colors:
Cinelli has been my favorite for 20 years. I always come back to it. I find it comfortable and have done centuries and long tours. Also it wears well and doesn't get slippery or sticky like some tapes with a more rubbery texture. Let's face it. Bar tape is hardly sexy but this stuff works.

Review of the Cinelli Cork Tape Solid Colors:
I buy Cinelli cork sometimes because I like the feel of 2 layer tape: Cork covered with classic cloth.

Yeah, I know. I'm pretty high class.

This stuff feels much better than *synthetic* or *imitation* cork. It works well for double-wrapping because it's so thin, but it's just as strong as any other tape I've used.

If you're going for cork you owe it to yourself to go with Cinelli or some other authentic cork tape. Don't settle for some of the nasty gel/cork/imitation stuff. Nasty.

Summed up: Good stuff. Not miraculous but darned good.

I like bar tape than can be wrapped tightly, has a low profile, doesn't feel sticky or slimy (even when wet), and isn't too squishy. The Cinelli tape meets all of my criteria.

Summed up: On of the rare cases where the cheap option is better than more pricey, feature heavy options.

Review of the Cinelli Cork Tape Solid Colors:
I got the natural tan tape. I had to wrap it with the Cinelli logos upside-down to hide the ugly damned things. And I wrapped it a little looser than I normally would to leave a little extra cushion. But beyond that, all's well. The tan looks great on my brown bike.

Summed up: A little thin, ugly logos, but totally workable.

Review of the Cinelli Cork Tape Solid Colors:
I used a black set on my SS build with bullhorns. Because the tape is long enough for drop bars I had plenty extra to overlap on the bullhorns. It's plenty of padding, wraps easy and tight. It sticks well to a clean bar.

After 300 miles of mostly dry riding it's holding up great and I like the padding from the 50% overlap.

Remember if you plan on using a light or other handlebar mounted device offset your start of the tape so you have space for your mount.
