The Kenda Nevegal - also commonly known as the "do-everything" mountain tire. Rip through the downhill course, pound over rocks and roots on the trail, climb those rutted and sandy all-mountain trails, or even tear up the race course. The Kenda Nevegal can do it all. Very good traction. Works well for a front tire. Wouldn't use it for a back tire because it doesn't roll very well.

Kenda's Nevegal tires has a bunch of awards for a reason. Plus being designed by DH/XC legend John Tomac, it add to a durable and dependable product. The tire combines a relatively fast-rolling, ramp-fronted, mid-height tread that gives you a great intermediate tire that glues itself to rocks and roots with equal tenacity, and paddles its way through mud and sand. I love the rounded profile that makes it roll into corners quickly and smoothly.
I've been using these tires tubeless on non-tubeless rims,and it's been working great! The sidewalls are tough and hasn't leaked or burped any air. It's the perfect tire to run on lower psi for better traction & cornering.

Heavy, heavy, heavy! Being new to mtb I put these on some Crossmax UST rims I have on a used bike I bought. I immediately noticed the weight difference compared to the tubeless Pythons that were on when I bought the bike.
I switched to some Karmas (non-UST) and Stan's and cut my tire weight in half, and it was easy to notice. I'm sure there's a time and place for these tires, but unless I'm going to ride in really sloppy conditions and need bomb-proof sidewalls I don't think I'll be using them anytime soon!
