I needed a new chain, so I figured I'd try out a hollow pin chain. I liked that it took more force to break a link (fit onto the bike) with a chain tool than SRAM's solid pin chains, so this one should be more durable. Other than that, the weight savings are small, especially if the hollow pins get filled up with mud and dirt.
The Price Machine was awesome and allowed me to do one-stop shopping here.
I'm on my second 991. just doing the regular 6 months chain swap to keep the rest of the drive train fresh. I've had good luck with it hence the repeat buy. If you shift smart you shouldn't have any problems with it.
Been running this chain for over a year on two different bikes. I have had zero problems with this chain. The chain is finally stretched to the point of needing replacement. Never broke a link and I am a masher, not a spinner. Light weight, not cheap, but deals can be found. Shifts well, even on Shimano cranks and cassette.
Summed up: I have another one on standby to replace worn out chain. Stong, light and reliable. Worth the money.
Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Strong and durable, keep it clean and well lubed, like any other chain, and it will last and last. I am pretty hard on my chains and I have no issues with this one. Shifts nicely too.
