A GuestLove these grips! With some HairNet hairspray, easy to install. Nice and fat, makes them very comfortable!

rawketOury grips, have been around forever for good reason. They are a great diameter, have excellent grip even with sweaty nasty hands, and are inexpensive to boot. They come in a wide range of colors to match your steed.
Install is slightly more complex than say... a bolt on grip, but the old school tactic of a bit of hairspray in the grip and 30 minutes in the sun still works great.
The grip shape is wonderful. The inner edge of the grip is ribbed and smaller diameter to ease use of shifters and provide a better handling feel. A slight flange on the outer edge of the grip keeps hands from sliding off.
The grips are fantastic ease control of the bike and make it look great. What else do you need?

A GuestI have used these grips quite a bit in the past and have to disagree with the previous reviewer. They have great cushiness and work great for cross country riding. I do wear gloves much of the time, but feel that they absorb tons of the shock from riding in general. The Oury grip also seems to lock to the bar because of the compound they use or something.

A GuestWhen I build a bike I put a lot of consideration into every component. Except two. Those two are automatic. The first are Oury grips (and the other is a Chris King headset).
I like the simplicity of design of the Oury grips and the larger diameter. They are on every bike I own: DH, XC, even a flat bar road bike.

man...@ya...o.comI used Ourys in the 1970's on MX bikes, great grips, I use end caps under them so the don't get holes in the ends.
I cut two pair, one with 3 squares the other with 2 squares, I put them together for my big hands, I now have custom 5 square Oury grips, they are great.

A GuestI had these on my hardrock hardtail and was a little dissapointed. I'm sure it's a personal preference, but these did not offer much cusion. Grip was good with gloves, but without gloves and a little moisture you'll be slipping. My hands would go numb - which i only slightly attribute to the grip.
Overall, I'd look for something else with a similar clamping mechanism. Good, just not amazing.

A GuestLove these grips! Great with gloves. Great with bare hands. Terrifically comfortable!
Can be a bit tricky to install. Be sure just to use compressed air, not any chemicals. Grips will stick to bars no problem as they are!

A GuestI installed these on my recumbent, it's the hot setup with barend shifts. Excellent!

itsmemattkTough and durable, yet with a soft, almost sticky grip. Just about the best grip on a flat bar bike I've ever ridden.
