Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
I used my Park CN-10 cutters to install Jagwire Ripcord shifter and brake cables on my mountain bike. There is no way I could have gotten the job done without them. They cut right through the tough housings without smashing the ends to bits.

Summed up: A must have for do it yourself cable work.

Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
To amend my previous review. I brought these cutters back to the tree fort just to make sure that my poor experience with these wasn't just user error. Two of the tree fort mechanics used the pair of cutters I had bought and said that mine were indeed defective. They also showed me how a good pair should cut and I must say the good set of cutters did a really good job! I will raise my previous review of 1 star up to 4 stars. I'd give it a higher review, but as of yet I'm not sold on the durability of the tool.
To tree forts credit, they took the tool back and reimbursed me for my expense.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
I used the Park CN-10 Cable Cutters almost every day, and they definitely get the job done. As long as you only use them to cut cables and housing, they stay sharp for many years.

Summed up: Very useful tool to have around, it's a must have if you change cables and housing frequently.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
Works fine, but isnt anything special.
Convenient because it's all in one tool, but none of the tools are any "better" than what you can get through a hardware store.

Not a necessity, but still, nice to have.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
You just can't cut housing or cable with a cheap cutter from the hardware store. This tool is essential for making sure the cable doesn't fray.

Solid tool. I prefer the Pedro's cable cutter myself, but as that was out of stock this was a good second choice. No problems, no regrets.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
I have tried all kinds of hardware store cable cutters and all of them either crimp the ends of the housings or dull quickly and fray the cables. I will never use any other tool for the job! What can I say, they're Park Tools!

Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
These work great. I originally tried to use wire cutters from my local hardware store; I was trying to save some money. Well, they kept fraying the cable housing. I ended up buying the Park Tool cable cutters in the end and they worked amazing. Cut through the cable housing easily, making clean cuts. I wish I had never wasted time and money on the other cutters. Spend the few extra bucks on a nice tool. You'll save time and money in the long run.

Summed up: Works great and well built. It's worth the cost.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
This is the cutter to get. I haven't tried any other bike-specific cutters, but I have tried various diagonal-cutters, and let me tell you, it's just not the same. The crushing motion of the diagonal cutter works fine on wire (even including brake cable), but ruins housing ends. The Park cutter does not ruin the ends (although you may still need to file just a bit to get full smoothness). It's worth it just to reduce your number of headaches.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
I've been stupidly using pliers for years, mangling cable housing and cables. Just bought these during a new build. Wow. Wish I could go back in time and kick myself in the nuts for trying to save a few bucks. Really useful.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
These cutters are solid, durable and perform beautifully on every cable/housing type (standard or specialty) that I have used. My last pair lasted about 8 years and the pair I just purchased are no different. I do a lot of work for my rider group. On average about 5 cable replacement jobs a month, more in the muddy weather seasons. This unit cuts smoothly with minimal housing compression.

Summed up: Good, solid cutters and better than others I have tried.

Yes, I would recomend this to a friend.

Review of the Park CN-10 Cable/Housing Cutter:
I installed a new cable kit on my bike today but before I got started I went out and bought this tool to cut the housing and cables. I found that after cutting the rear derailure section of housing that these cutters lost their sharpness and they started fraying the cables and had a hard time cutting through the housing. I resorted back to an older set of wire cutters from home depot to finish cutting the cables. I was forced to finish using these cutters for the housing since my regular wire cutters couldn't cut through it, but they didn't cut nearly as clean or as easily as at first.
I know park tool makes good products so I'll give them credit and say that maybe this set of cutters just slipped by the Quality Assurance staff, but for $25 I'm pretty disapointed.

Summed up: Cutters wore out after cutting one section of housing assembly.
