nx779MiI was given an old cromo Specialized Hard Rock with a rusted-in BB the previous owner couldn't extract. I'm apparently not bright enough to say no to free bike frames, so I soaked that baby in liquid wrench and smashed on the BB using this tool (HCW-4) and a 10lb mallet while my football player nephew held the frame and the stand down. After about 5 minutes of severe expletive-laced pounding, the kind where your kids wonder if Daddy might be Dexter, the BB finally spun out. The tool never once slipped or bent - still have all my fingers to prove it, and my nephew doesn't have a broken rib from a tool slip. Best part, I got a free project bike! So, If you want a well made tool which won't bend under some questionable torque, the kind you probably shouldn't apply but you know you will, I'd say Park is your ticket. If you want to take the money you save and spend it in the emergency room, cheap out and buy something else. Life is too short for cheap tools.
P.S. I bet it works just as well with a bike someone took good care of also.
