A GuestBest touring tire for punctures. I am 210 lbs, and had no luck with flats on 25 mm tires. I tried 4 brands before this. Went from ~5 flats/season to 0.
Examining the tire at the end of the season, I could see all kinds of cuts in the outer rubber layer, and even some small glass shards embedded in it, but nothing cut through the inner layer. Great!
Cons: get hard & loses grip in cold weather, wear fairly fast, and heavy if you are a gramm counter.

githensA great all around tire - good on gravel roads & rough chip-seal. I've worn out several sets, but never had a puncture flat.

stephensaxtonMost of my friends and I agree this is the best value for any 700c city tire out there. They are tough, long-lasting and pretty easy to get on and off (unlike gatorskins). They have a nice tread but roll fast.

A GuestI tried these because I hate getting flats (we have a lot of glass and goat heads around here) and all the other tires I have tried either wear out too quickly or cost more than I am willing to spend. I commute about 10k miles per year and I can usually get 6 months on a rear tire and a full season on a front. They are not especially lightweight but they handle well and I have only had one flat in the past two years (fresh glass that I ran over in the dark and which eventually worked its way through the casing. I don't think any tire would have stopped that). I have put them on all my road bikes and have been very satisfied with them. I have tried most of the tires in the Continental, Michelin, Vittoria, Specialized and mail order brands (Nashbar, Performance, etc) and like these better. Haven't tried many of the tires from Kenda, Schwalbe or Hutchinson though so can't comment on those.
