typ...@ho...l.comI've been running these for years as my all-round training tire. I find their ride more comfortable than other highly puncture resistant tires, and their weight is reasonable. Wear is average as well as handling. With over 40,000 miles on these, I can count the number of flats on a few fingers. They will get pretty cut up as the miles pour on, but their casing protection is really great. For an all-round durable tire that you don't have to worry about, I'll keep coming back...especially if Tree Fort keeps offering them at a great price for a training tire. Thanks Tree Fort!

mmcclusk2This is THE tire to run if you ride a lot on the road. I put 4,000 miles on a set before the center of the tires just wore out. No flats at all.
I commute a lot, and also train on my road bike, so it's nice to have a good tire that can do both.

A GuestI tried the rest, now I'm back to refuse.

A GuestBecause of the price, I bought two of these tires. I seem to be the only person who has had repeated flats with them (none on the front, two on the rear), and the casing looks toasted now with only about 15% of the tread used up. I'm hesitant to purchase another set, but the price is the only redeeming factor right now. Maybe I just have bad luck.

apodicticAfter hearing rave reviews for this tire and getting 5 flats on my rear wheel, I decided to switch to this tire. I haven't gotten a flat since and no punctures yet.

A GuestThese tires are very good for training ride. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they show little wear.

lynam3dadStill early in my use, but I don't notice the rolling resistance that has been mentioned, even though the tread pattern covers the center of the tire.
I bought these for commuting on my road bike and I wanted a little tread to keep me from sliding off the paved trails when it is raining. I've been riding Continental Gator Skins and had some problems with the sidewalls, so the price is also a bonus.
Fingers crossed I don't have to change these out this year.

A GuestI've been cycling for 30 years and these are without a doubt the best tires I've ever used.

A GuestI had previously been riding armadillos for years. I had gotten tired of being beaten up and scared whenever it rained a little. I read all of the good reviews, and I decided to try these tires. I am glad that I did! These things are comfortable. They seem to go faster then the armadillos, which seems strange. I have to brake on hills that I never used to brake on. (maybe the armadillos were just slow and harsh). And these things handle great. Great traction in wet and dry and while cornering. They are like riding on a regular tire without making a sacrifice for puncture resistance. It has been a month- no flats at all. I weigh 235, and I am 6'2". With stock tires I get flats every 10 feet. I don't avoid anything on the road, either. You can't go wrong with these. The price is great. I will be buying these for a long time.

swimmernate07Very durable tire with excellent puncture resistance. I ride on rough Texas roads with glass and have not had a puncture since replacing. Not the fastest or smoothest ride, but very good training tires if you dislike stopping to repair flats.

A GuestI put these on my Giant Defy after the stock Michelin's kept flatting on almost every ride. After 6 months and about 2500 miles, I have had zero flats. I consider these a good solid training tire with good grip and puncture resistance. After 2500 miles, the front tire shows only minor wear such as cuts, scuffs and scratches. The rear shows a flat spot in the center. I will rotate them soon before the threads begin to show, Looks like I can get roughly 5000-6000 miles out of them. There are faster tires out there, but I'm sold on the puncture resistance of this baby. If you flat often with your current tires, try some of these.

A GuestWith all the riding I do this is a great tire. In the past I have had tires that will get flats in the first few 100 miles. I have had these for 3 weeks and put on 700 to 1000 miles and have yet to have a flat. I have been on regular streets, pot hole filled roads and packed dirt roads and these tires have held up beautifully.
