Saris Bones 2 Bike Trunk Rack

Review of the Saris Bones 2 Bike Trunk Rack:

I really enjoyed this product because of the lightweight construction and fairly easy installation. The rack also looks great on the vehicle and folds down easily when not in use.

I did however notice that the straps could be a bit better quality (you need to tighten the straps on longer trips or bumpier roads). I also didn't care for the fact that there are metal tabs that hold the rack on which come in direct contact with your trunk surface (could rub off the paint over time, but haven't noticed any issues as of yet). It would be a lot better if they used rubber coating on the mounting tabs and a better quality strap design.

With that all being said, this is easily the best 2-bike rack on the market for the price; but I would be willing to spend an extra $25-30 dollars for more attention to detail on the manufacturer's part.

This is my second purchase - excellent and easy and reliable rack. I gave my first one to my son and daughter in law for their bikes.

Great product and service. Shipped timely and in great condition. The rack itself is superb, sturdy and really worth the price. I don't have to worry about my bike slipping off or falling while on the highway. Very modular, even though my sonata doesn't have a flat horizontal bumper, it still adjusts and holds the bike in place.
