I've ridden SPD for a few years now but i have never really felt comfortable being locked into my Straitline pedals. I do not regret the the change to platforms. These things are amazing. They stick like glue. I have all the studs in right now but i may remove a few to see how it feels. Again, these Straitline pedals are amazing...they have given me my confidence back.

Well before these I just had the stock plastic pedals that came with my 07 specialized enduro. They worked, but I wanted something that looked better that would give better grip.

I was astonished the first ride, when you plant your foot it sticks like glue. Killer looks and great strength. I bounced off a boulder with my right pedal which sent me airborn, nothing but a tiny scratch on them.

I am forced to do alot of climbing/dismounting being here in Wisconsin, and I sometimes find the extreme grip a nuisance because if i don�t replant my foot right it gets stuck in the wrong position of the pedal. So i WOULD NOT RECOMENT FOR FREESTYLE RIDERS (at least with all the studs in) I think I�m going to remove some of the studs so it�s not quite so crazy sticky.

Excellent product. Great looks, too.
Too bad I didn't get the discount they are offering now, but I needed them so I took the hit.
No complaints... very easy to use.

This pedal exhibits robust, efficient, and excellent design. The pedal platform is solid and at the moment free from play. I feel extremely well planted on these. The ability to customize pin arrangement due to the sheer number of hex pins is excellent. Also the utility offered in the insanely easy maintenance/rebuild of the bushings is a revelation. An excellent and well thought out investment in riding enjoyment and safety. TFB has delivered these right away and the transaction has been pleasantly smooth.
