The Kenda Nevegal - also commonly known as the "do-everything" mountain tire. Rip through the downhill course, pound over rocks and roots on the trail, climb those rutted and sandy all-mountain trails, or even tear up the race course. The Kenda Nevegal can do it all.
Widely spaced boxy knobs keep the rubber side down in nearly all situations. Rip through mud, dig into sand, and climb like a goat with the superb traction of the knobby tread. The wide spaces clear mud, dirt, and sand like no other, allowing for excellent traction even in less than excellent conditions. Stiff sidewalls and durable rubber compound fend off flats to keep you doing what matters most.
- Dual Tread Compound (DTC) uses the durable L3R compound in the middle for excellent tread life and the Stick-E rubber compound on the side for slipless traction
- Ramped center knobs keep traction high and rolling resistance low

A GuestThis is by far one of the best tires I have ever ridden! At times of slower uphills with wet rock and/or loose gravel, this tire seems to clinch on to everything! It was almost shocking to me how much grip I was getting after running other brands for so long. I ride in central texas where the terrain differs from flat rock to loose sand to even gravel and I have been extremely impressed with this tire.

A Guestcame stock on my single-speed. I experimented with various "lighter" tires but was very dissatisfied with the lack of traction and quick wear of the other tires. so, I went back to the Nevegals. they provide GREAT traction and, for me, lasted a looong time (easily 1500 miles, which included a few hundred road miles).
I shoulda learned...if it aint broke, dont fix it.

devdocGreat all around tire for trail riding. They corner well and seem to have traction in all kinds of conditions. For a 29er they are lighter than many tires at a reasonable price.

A GuestIt was a beefy quality tire, but just to much tire for my likings. Very heavy and not a great roller. I figured it would be beefy when I bought it, but not that beefy. Recently bought the Ignitor and am lovin it!

FKDIIII've ridden alot of 29er tires. For SoCal, loose over hardpack i just don't know what can beat it. Yes, there are lighter tires out there. Yes there are tires with less rolling resistance. Yes if you ride in areas with a lot of really sharp jagged rocks the sidewalls can be sliced. If those are your concerns buy other tires. These things hook up, they break away (when they do) at a very predictable rate. On a carbon Specialized, 26lbs and 24 in the rear, 160 lb rider, Stans and a surprising amount of road work to get to trailheads they last about 6 months in the rear.. At that point it becomes a tire for the sandstone in Utah, the front goes to the back and a new one goes on the front. This winter after the crap gets washed off the trail I'm going to try a Slant Six but until then, this is it. BTW, haven't spent alot of time in the wet with them but did spend several days in Vermont in the wet, rain, roots etc. No clay type mud but lots of the loamy stuff. Worked fine, better than my wet root skills anyway.

A GuestI installed them a few days ago with Stans. Both tires had 3-4 pin holes in them. Side walls of tire are paper thin, I can put 40 lbs in them and they give alot around hard turns. I will never buy this brand again. Poor quality!!!
