I love wool. I live in Alaska, and these pants are great for all but the warmest summer days. I wear them several times a week, and it takes forever for them to start getting smelly. They are comfortable--waist band isn't super tight, fabric stretches well. The chamois is pretty light, but it has done its job. Only complaint is I wish they were full-length. If it's cool enough for 3/4 length wool tights it's cool enough for full-length. My shins don't understand why they're always getting left out in the cold.
